Starting with vitamin A, VitaSight® includes a nutrient essential for optimum
eye health. Vitamin A, or retinol, is involved in the function of the retina of
the eye.
Prolonged vitamin A deficiency can cause, among other things, poor eye
adaptation to changes in light, poor night vision, a weakened immune system.
Vitamins C and E are added to help in the absorption process of vitamin A. Other
eye-friendly ingredients include zinc - which aids in the absorption of vitamin
A, and selenium - a trace mineral that works with vitamin E in preventing free
radical damage to cell membranes.
